Plate heat exchangers with fully welded plate assembly

The FunkeBloc range is used predominantly in the chemical and petrochemical industry, as well as in refineries and when dealing with gas and oil.

In addition to the heat recovery, as in the example of gas drying, typical application areas also include process heat and cooling as well as process condensation and evaporation.

Depending on the model, the high-quality heat exchangers can be used to achieve operating temperatures of –50 to +400 °C and pressures of –1 to 40 bar.

To protect the heat exchanger from corrosion, all parts that come into contact with media are made of stainless steel or other corrosion-resistant materials.

FunkeBloc heat exchangers feature a highly efficient design with a high surface density. Compared to shell-and-tube heat exchangers, the heating surfaces can be significantly reduced in this design, resulting in low investment and maintenance costs.

Thanks to the compact block design, the device can be opened, inspected and cleaned in even the smallest of spaces during maintenance.

Fully welded plate pack
